I encourage you to draw up house floor plans before making any creative changes to your home. It is these drawings that will provide you with your room layout information so that you are able to analyze the space available to work with.
Your house floor plans will allow you to access:
|
1. Functional and usable space 2. Poorly used space 3. Inefficient space To make good decisions based on the best location of your furniture, a set of plans would help you get the job done and to do this, all you need is a sketch of your rooms. You just need to measure up your room and get the information onto paper. It can be as rough as the example on the right. |
