There are many great tile ranges available in various finishes and sizes. Below are a couple of brilliant examples, showing metal mosaics which are robust and striking as well as being highly practical for easy maintenance. This is a great option for the centerpiece of your kitchen wall decor and would fit into both a contemporary or traditional design style.

The industrial design concept would adopt a sheet metal finish however the tiles are more interesting and are usually available in stainless steel, copper or warm bronze.

TIP: Simple touches that add something special into a room work best which means you should look to where these moments could happen. Usually they would become focal points.

Having a cellar at home has to be one of lifes luxuries and if there is space for one, then build it and enjoy it. If not, you could always design yourself a super trendy wine wall like those you can see in the images below. This would is created from a wooden panel sized to fit your wall, with steel rods fixed from behind to support the collection of bottles. This a wonderful and fairly unique addition into a kitchen. Really makes a wall worth looking at!

Another way to decorate your kitchen wall is to incorporate strip LED lighting. The image on the right is a great example of how this could look fitted into the wall space between your worktops and wall hung storage.

To achieve this, LED strips are mounted behind glass or perspex panels. The ambient glow in your kitchen during the evenings would be pretty stunning.
